Mozzie
My sweet boy turned three today! I am so happy I chose to be his foster parent and I am even happier that I was able to adopt him. He is the love of my life and keeps me laughing every day. Of course, it is hard having a little one around at my age, but I think he helps keep me young. I made him special cookies for his birthday and Daddy bought him a toy, which he has already destroyed. Sometimes his behavior is horrid, but then he looks at me with that sweet little boy face and I melt. Some may say I am spoiling him, but I see his soul and realize he cannot be spoiled. He needs love and affection and gentle correction. And lots of hugs and kisses! Thank you, Lord, for my boy.

It has been a while since I have posted and a friend asked me about that. The answer is too long and too personal to me, but suffice it to say that it has been one long year. Those who love me and care about me know the story. Over a year ago we began what we thought would be a new adventure. It turned out to be a living nightmare, which tends to be typical of most of our decisions. However, what the devil meant for our harm, God has used for our good. We still struggle on a daily basis, but know we know that God loves us, is protecting us, is walking with us each step of the way, and has a plan for our good.
I finally graduated this month from Liberty University with my Bachelor's Degree in Religion. I have begun my book and am catching up on sewing projects that have been put off for too long. When I am finished with those, I will begin sewing Christmas gifts and, hopefully, sew enough things to re-open my Etsy store. I am so pleased with my projects, so far.
We live where it snows in the winter and is hot and humid in the summer. I love the cold weather, but not the humidity in the summer. We have had more than our share of tornado and severe storm warnings this year. I am not a fan. I am looking forward to snow again. I keep remembering the awe I felt the first few times I opened my curtains to see the yard blanketed in snow. The snow drifts were so beautiful.
Hopefully, I will be blogging more often now that I have graduated. I am a little shy about sharing personal stuff after someone took advantage of some information they got off my blog a while back but, Lord willing, He will give me the courage to be the open book He wants me to be.
